TERMS

We accept orders by mail accompanied by check or money order and telephone orders charged to VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and AmEx or shipped COD. No 3rd party COD&rsqo;s accepted. COD charge is $12.50. Orders are shipped within 2 business days of receipt. Shipment time varies depending on your location. Remember shipments to the West Coast take at least one week from date of shipment. To discuss shipping options, please call our customer service department. Accounts filed for collection are responsible for all legal fees incurred by Herbalist & Alchemist. Practitioners and stores, you can also order directly on line, please call to set up your wholesale account. Sorry only credit card orders will be accepted on line... We will process your request as quickly as possible.

SHIPPING

We generally ship UPS or FedEx ground service. Please inform us if other arrangements are necessary. Be sure to include your street address for delivery. Shipments to PO Boxes must be delivered via US Mail. We give free ground service shipping for all retail internet orders over $75 and all wholesale orders over $150. For 2nd or 3rd Day Select Service, please call customer service for rates.

DROP SHIPMENTS

Additional $2.50 handling fee for orders shipped to a second party. Minimum drop ship order is $25 net for each second party shipment.

 

OUT OF STOCK

If we are temporarily out of stock on a product you may re-order that product on your next order. There will be no backorders.

RETURNS

For damaged goods please notify Herbalist & Alchemist immediately. Do not discard the packaging. All returns must be pre-authorized by Herbalist & Alchemist by calling customer service at 1-800-611-8235. All returns are for either product replacement or credit. No refund checks will be issued. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

RETURN POLICY ON BOTTLES 8 OZ. OR LARGER

All sales are final. They are not sizes that we generally stock in inventory and are considered special orders. There are no refunds or exchanges.

PRICES

Although we strive to maintain constant prices, they are subject to change without notice.

RETURNED CHECKS

There will be a $30 charge for returned checks.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Orders must be prepaid by credit card or in US funds. Per DOT regulations alcohol-containing products traveling via AIR cannot exceed 16 fl. oz. in any single shipment. Larger orders may be broken down into multiple shipments. International orders can be placed on our web site, but only US ground cost is reflected. Customer Service will email you a shipping quote for your destination prior to processing your order. Call us for estimates if necessary.

 

PLANT SPECIES

Our catalog lists botanicals in our products by their common name found in the American Herbal Products—Herbs in Commerce publication. The Latin binomial is also included. Note that due to availability we may substitute another species of the same plant genus. We will only use species with similar activity approved by our herbalist, David Winston. If such a species is not available we will not make the product until an approved species becomes available.

BOTANICAL (LATIN) NAMES

Please be aware that Botanical (Latin) names change. Older reference books often have out of date names and more current reference materials may or may not have the current species name. We generally use current Botanical (Latin) names, unless an older name is so well known that it would be confusing to list the newer name. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
