In our increasingly polluted world, we see the significant and worrisome results of heavy metal   toxicity, indoor pollutants and sick building syndrome, iatrogenic (drug-induced) disease and other environmental diseases. In this unique class we will look at the research (human and animal studies) that gives us clues to effective treatments for this understudied problem.  We will explore the use of herbs and nutritional supplements that have shown efficacy and those that are claimed to be useful but have no evidence of efficacy ( i.e., Cilantro for Mercury toxicity).
