Mullein leaf is used as a mild, non-irritating
expectorant. It increases activity of the cilia increasing
expectoration of mucus and soothes irritated mucous membranes. Use
with expectorants such as Elecampane, Yerba Santa, Horehound, or
Grindelia. |
