Rich in essential oils, Cardamom inhibits the growth
of yeast, fungi and bacteria. It can be useful in formulas for
thrush, vaginal candidiasis, and candida overgrowth in the bowel or
upper respiratory tract. Traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic
medicine, Cardamom is a carminative indicated for “damp spleen”
conditions (diarrhea, nausea, poor appetite) as well as flatulence,
borborygmus, and impaired fat digestion. |
