Traditional Information*

Bugleweed is a valuable and underutilized herb for hyperthyroidism—especially the irregular heartbeat, elevated blood pressure and palpitations often associated with hyperthyroidism. Bugleweed is astringent and sedative for use in cases of irritation of the lungs, chronic cough, hemoptysis, blood in the urine and heart palpitations with a rapid “thready” pulse.
