Known in
Chinese medicine as Bai Zhu, this root is a useful tonic for the
Chinese spleen. It dries dampness and stagnation, so it is an
effective remedy for gas, diarrhea, dysbiosis and bloating. It is
included in many Fu Zheng formulas to improve nutrition in cancer
patients (Cachexia) and prevent diarrhea in AID’s patients. |
