A mild
alterative gently increasing lymphatic, kidney and liver function.
Burdock is indicated for chronic lymphatic swellings, chronic skin
diseases with inflammation and irritation of the urinary tract.

Red Root fresh

(Ceanothus americanus) * |
An astringent
useful for overactive mucosa and chronic catarrh. It is also
indicated for lymphatic congestion, spleenomegaly, tonsillitis and
pancreatitis. Red Root increases osmosis of waste from the
lymphatic fluid into the blood.

Figwort fresh

(Scrophularia nodosa) * |
An alterative
affecting the lymph, blood and skin. It is indicated for chronic
skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. It is also
effective for lymphatic stagnation, hemorrhoids, cystic breast
disease and lipomas (with Self Heal and Red Root).

Violet fresh

Alterative,
laxative, nutritive and demulcent. An excellent lymphatic herb,
Violet is used for chronic lymphatic swelling and stagnant lymph
especially associated with constipation. |

Red Clover
blossom
(Trifolium pratense) * |
Has a long
history of use in alterative “cancer” formulas. It contains
isoflavones (genistein, diadzein, biochanan and formononetin) which
inhibit cancer cell growth. Red Clover is a mild lung, lymphatic and
liver remedy indicated for cases of irritable cough, whooping cough,
cough from measles, lymphatic congestion and tonsillitis.

Echinacea
fresh root
(E. angustifolia, E. purpurea, E. pallida) * |
Indicated for
acute viral or bacterial infection (colds, flu, bronchitis,
septicemia, Streptococcus and Staphylococcus). Echinacea is also
used for acute prostatitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis and
pyorrhea. Locally it is used for infections, inflammation and
abscesses.
