Additional Recommendations |
Other dietary sources of carotenoids include yams,
pumpkins and melons as well as leafy green vegetables such as
spinach, collards, kale, Swiss chard and turnip greens.
Supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids may improve the absorption
of carotenoids. The free radical scavaging action of the a-tocopherols
found in Vitamin E can be enhanced when combining it with
carotenoids. |
