Herbalist & Alchemist Announces Southwest Botanical Conference Winner of David Winston Library

Tempe, AZ (May 9, 2008) --  Hot on the heels of the successful Herbalist & Alchemist’s 2008 Expo West iPod contest, the practitioners at the annual Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine waited to see who won the company’s “Build Your Library Contest” with books & lectures by company founder and noted herbalist David Winston, RH(AHG)

The winner of the library, Michelle Michael, is a Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Avondale, AZ and a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. H&A sales rep Alice Masotes said, "Michelle came to the booth to see who won and when her name was drawn from the hat, she was thrilled. She was very excited about the new resources and cannot wait to use the cds & books.”

The annual Southwest Conference is held at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. The conference emphasizes botanical therapies for chronic conditions, and is attended by naturopathic practitioners from all over the world. The program is accredited for continuing education credits by a number of states.
