Black Mountain, NC (July 3, 2008) --  Herbalist & Alchemist’s 2008 initiative of giving door prizes at shows and conferences gleaned from their extensive training materials has proven incredibly popular, with the latest no exception.  The winner of the company’s “Build Your Library Contest” with books & lectures by company founder and noted herbalist David Winston, RH(AHG) at the Medicines from the Earth conference in Black Hills, North Carolina  was Lee Edwards of Brooksville, Florida.

The winner of the library, Lee Edwards, is an herbalist who lives in Florida and has been an H&A customer for a long time. H&A Marketing Manager, Nickie Bunting said, "Lee was really eager to get her library package.”

The annual Medicines From the Earth Conference is held at Black Mountain, North Carolina. David Winston has been regularly invited to present at this conference which features lectures and intensives on botanical medicine by practitioners and researchers and is attended by practitioners from all over the world. The program is accredited for continuing education credits by a number of professional certifying groups.
