David Winston Library Give Away a Hit in
Herbalist & Alchemist Booth at Trade Shows & Educational Conferences
Washington, NJ (December 11, 2008) --
Herbalist & Alchemist’s 2008
initiative of giving educational prizes at shows and conferences gleaned
from founder David Winston’s extensive publications, training materials
and seminar recordings has become a major hit at the company’s booth at
every tradeshow from Natural Products Expo East to Veterinarian
Conferences.
The company’s “Build Your
Library Contest” with books & lectures by company founder and noted
herbalist David Winston, RH (AHG) was recently offered at Expo East, the
New Hampshire Naturopathic Conference, the American Holistic Veterinary
Medicine Association (AHVMA) Conference and the American Herbalists
Guild (AHG) Symposium.
The “iPod Library” winner at
Expo East, Held in Boston October 16 - 18 was
Cyclone McCrone of Herbal Path Pharmacy in Dover, NH.
Cyclone said “I’m overwhelmed.” He just loves David and was really
looking forward to the lectures.
At the AHVMA’s 23rd
annual conference held in Reno, NV October 11-14, the library winner was
Carol L. Falck, VMD of the Friendship Animal Wellness Center in Pompano
Beach, FL. When the company offered to ship the library to her, she
replied that she wanted to take the library with her so that she could
start reading right away on the plane. When reached a few days afterward
she said how much she was enjoying everything and had already learned so
much listening to the CD’s and reading the books.
At
the 19th Annual AHG National Symposium held
October 24-26 in Redmond,
Washington, winner John Gallagher said
“Wow, I'm in shock. I never win anything. Thank you, Thank you, Thank
you.”
Library winner from the
November 7-8 New Hampshire Naturopathic Conference held in Nashua, NH,
Khumpani O'Hara from Montpelier VT, has known David for years.
O’Hara said “I am a thrilled and happy herbalist!
It will be a good winter. I will be listening to and reading the entire
library!”
“Education
is as important to our customers, be they retailers, practitioners or
veterinarians, as the quality of the products they recommend,” said
company CEO Beth Lambert. “The booth was packed when David gave a mini
seminar at Expo East, and the number of people registering to win a
library of David’s books and CD’s grows exponentially each time we do
this.”
